This heartfelt realization led Nasir Uddin Mashuk to establish SONGJOG NOFEL —a global digital platform for Greater Noakhali. His personal experiences during travels across London, Canada, America, and Dubai in 2022 strengthened his belief that the warmth, hospitality, and support he received from fellow Noakhailyas should be accessible to all. He envisioned a structured platform where people from Noakhali, Feni, and Lakshmipur could unite, support one another, and create opportunities for collective growth. Inspired by this mission and with encouragement from like-minded individuals, SONGJOG NOFEL was officially established on December 16, 2023, with the vision of connecting and empowering the Greater Noakhali community across the world.
SONGJOG NOFEL is a non-political, social networking initiative that welcomes people of all backgrounds—regardless of religion, class, profession, or financial status. By registering online, individuals can become members, invite their relatives and friends to join, and actively participate in welfare activities that uplift the community. Through SONGJOG NOFEL , Noakhali, Feni, and Lakshmipur can shine on the global stage as a land of unity, resilience, and enlightened individuals—a legacy that will inspire future generations.
Our Initiatives and Global Reach
Despite being a privately established platform, SONGJOG NOFEL has already undertaken numerous humanitarian initiatives, including financial aid for underprivileged patients, disaster relief for flood victims, blood donation drives, employment generation, tube-well installations, and poverty alleviation through zakat-based support programs. Members have also extended assistance to fellow Noakhailyas traveling abroad for higher education and personal necessities.
Today, Noakhailyas residing in over 21 countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Australia, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Ireland, Poland, Italy, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, Portugal, and France, have joined SONGJOG NOFEL. The platform continues to expand as more people unite under this shared vision.
